Coral reef: I meant coral Caftan

I was inspired by my sewing mentor To make this fabulous vintage caftan with this pattern.

The fabric is African Lace gifted to me by a colleague. Yay me!

  
I shorted the pattern 17 inches 

I used the selvage for the decorative scalloped edges it had.

I cut the middle pattern price in half , attached with a 15 inch v neck and faced with …you guessed it the scalloped salvaged edge. 

 
The selvage also became the belt (above)

   

  

  

  

  

  

Now I need an event to wear this to.
